Searching for Cerato
In 2004 Julian led an expedition to Western China exploring the area where Cerato grows wild. This flower has a unique link with Dr Bach and Cromer and development of the 38 remedies. It will be the subject of the presentation along with a film made about the expedition. Other films will also be shown during the conference which illustrate the extraordinary parallels between plant biographies and the Bach remedy state.
Since writing A Guide to Bach Flower Remedies in 1978 Julian has given talks on Dr Bach in all parts of the world and published Collected Writings, the first complete edition of Bach's work. Other books have
focused attention on the plants used in the preparation of Bach remedies and in recent years he has turned to making short films about the flowers used in preparation of the essences. He is a director of Healing Herbs, Bach Essence Producers and founder of Bach Flower Research Programme.
