Bach Flower Check-up
Where am I now – Where am I going? A new, playful way to manage an emotional crisis
For effective Bach flower therapy, it is important to come to an accurate choice of the Bach remedies that are really needed at the time. However, as was Dr Bach's original intention, it is at least as important to understand which trigger or
'mental misunderstanding' has led to the present emotional situation. Then, this freeing 'aha' experience provides the impulse for the desired, constructive change
- that the Bach flowers can then bring about more quickly and effectively.
Mechthild has developed a completely new way to get closer to the subject. It gives the user the most important information about how the
'mental misunderstanding' developed, how it can be corrected and then the emotional crisis resolved with the help of the remedies. Her innovative method embodies the essence of more than 30 years of practical experience at her Institute for Bach Flower Therapy, Research and Education.
Mechthild Scheffer, recognized expert for naturopathic medicine and communication, introduced the work of
Dr Edward Bach to the German-speaking world in 1981. Since then she has systematically expanded Bach Flower Therapy, making decisive contributions to its further development. For many years she was the representative of the English Bach Centre in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Over 30 years of work in practice and research are reflected in her many publications and 15 books which have been translated into many different languages.
Mechthild Scheffer founded the Institutes
für Bach-Blütentherapie, Forschung und Lehre (Institutes for Bach Flower Therapy, Research and Education) in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The education programme she developed has been attended by thousands of patients and therapists.
